Celia Hammerton is passionate about music and singing. For many years she has been passing that love on to her students as music teacher and choir director at Central School.

Central School Choir are regular performers at one of Saskatchewan's biggest annual events, Telemiracle, and also host regular fundraisers for it, including a bake sale this weekend along with a performance from 10-12 at Swift Current Mall.

Celia says, " I grew up with music myself and I just think it's a part of everyone's life. It's my main passion and I just enjoy sharing that with my students. For me it's all about the students having fun and sharing my passion and enjoyment of music and passing that on so they'll do that in their lives as well."

For instilling a love for and appreciation of music and song, and also the importance of giving back in her students through her dedication to the Central School Choir, Celia gets this weeks eagle applause and a gift card from Schultz's Ranch Country Meats in Morse.

Congratulations Celia and keep up the good work.
