A break-and-enter and an attempted vehicle theft at a Swift Current dealership Wednesday morning have left the business with some damage. 

The incident occurred between 3:50 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Wednesday and saw a suspect shatter the glass out on a bay door to gain entry to the building.

The male suspect wearing dark clothes then tried to steal an SUV once inside. The suspect failed and was picked up by someone driving a dark-coloured SUV.

Swift Current Rural RCMP was notified of the incident at 5:50 a.m. and are continuing their investigation into the incident.

Police described the suspect as about five-foot-ten around 150-160 pounds. He was wearing black shoes with white soles, jeans, a black hoodie, and a hat.
