Garbage truck on fire near Riverview Village Estates in Swift Current

There is currently a fire near Riverview Village Estates, being engaged by the Swift Current Fire Department. 

The fire involves a garbage truck, located near the end of 2nd Avenue Southeast. 

The road is currently blocked off, with three fire trucks from the Swift Current Fire Department working to extinguish the blaze.

The road into Riverview Village Estates has been blocked off to allow EMS to work uninterrupted. 

Folks are asked to stay clear while crews continue to work.
