We always want to show our appreciation for essential workers in the southwest, especially those working at our healthcare and long-term care facilities while we work through the COVID-19 pandemic together.

Deziree Hampton is a registered nurse and manager of the Herbert & District Integrated Healthcare Facility, and we are very excited to award her as this week's Original Joe's Workplace Superstar! Her co-worker, Dakota Perkins, sent in this nomination for her:

"Times have been tough for everyone lately, but she always goes above and beyond to ensure things are running smoothly at the Herbert nursing home / hospital. She can always put a smile on our faces, and has gone above and beyond to ensure employees safety during this scary time."

Deziree has won a $25 gift certificate from Original Joe's along with the title of Workplace Superstar, and we're hoping that you can show your appreciation to her and other healthcare workers in the southwest, and keep them safe, too.

Dakota is now in our next nominators' draw for a chance to win another $25 OJ's gift certificate in six weeks. Rachel Harrington, who nominated local Safeway manager Rod Orthner as our Workplace Superstar a few weeks ago, won our most recent nominators' draw on Thursday morning, and she will be getting an OJ's gift certificate of her own!
