The Swift Current Broncos have another long weekend on their hands.

After playing three games in three days over last weekend they now have three games in four days coming up.

That starts tonight in Brandon before they host Prince Albert on Saturday and welcome Kootenay to the Credit Union iPlex on Monday.

Swift Current has won two straight games and are 4-2 to start the season.

Their first visit to Brandon this season was a 3-2 win last Sunday.

Broncos goaltender Travis Child comes into action tonight having won all four of his starts this season including Sunday's victory in Brandon and a 7-3 win over Portland on Tuesday.

Swift Current is the second leading scoring team in the WHL Eastern Conference so far this season with 23 goals in 6 games.

Brandon is 1-1-1 on the season. They are the defending WHL champions.

Tyler Steenbergen enters the weekend tied for second in the WHL with 5 goals over 6 games.

Artyom Minulin is tied for leading scorers among defencemen with 7 points in 6 games.
