Four Swift Current Broncos are getting a chance to test themselves against the best in the world.

Glenn Gawdin, Max Lajoie, Lane Pederson and Colby Sissons have been invited to NHL camps or rookie tournaments.

They are among 140 WHLers attending NHL camps this year.

Gawdin will once again head to St. Louis' camp after they picked him in the 2015 NHL Draft.

Lajoie is heading to his first main camp with Ottawa after the Senators nabbed him in the most recent draft.

Being undrafted hasn't stopped Sissons or Pederson from getting opportunities.

Pederson returns to Arizona Coyotes camp after getting a chance to attend their development camp this summer.

"They're an 'A' class organization and they treat you unbelievably well," Pederson said. "It's an amazing spot and the talent level is incredible. They have a really deep pool of prospects there so it makes it that much tougher when you go in there competing. It makes for fun competition and you kind of see what's out there."

He has a connection with Arizona now that former Broncos Coach/GM Mark Lamb is the coach of Arizona's AHL team.

Pederson also attended Anaheim's camp last year.

"You go there and every year it's a bit of an eye opener," Pederson said. "You see guys in your age group, what they're doing on the ice, how they compete, how they play and how they prepare. It shows you the level you need to raise yourself to."

Sissons will be headed to join the New Jersey Devils for their rookie tournament team.

"I wanted a chance and I'm thankful New Jersey gave me a chance," Sissons said. "Hopefully I can make a good impression."

It's not clear how soon the four key players will be back in Swift Current. The Broncos have cut their roster down to 27 with two games left on the pre-season schedule.

Their regular season home opener is September 23rd against Saskatoon.

You can hear tonight's game at home against Prince Albert and tomorrow's from Moose Jaw live on The Eagle 94.1 FM with Roberston Family Group Broncos Hockey at 6:30pm.

Puck drop is 7:00pm tonight at the Credit Union iPlex.
