Old Man Winter has reintroduced himself to the Southwest this past weekend.

Sunday morning the residents of Swift Current awoke to a nice surprise of white fluffy snow.

The snow will continue to pile up today, tonight and tomorrow as the forecast is calling for flurries and cold temperatures.

Strong winds with gusts upwards of 60 kilometres an hour will also create wind chills in the minus 30's.

The road conditions around Swift Current are being described as; Reduced visibility, icy and slippery sections, snow packed, and drifting snow.
