Another dozen new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in the province in the Sask Health Authority's Sunday edition of their daily update on the pandemic.

The cases are evenly split at four apiece between the far north, north, and Saskatoon regions, pushing the overall total of confirmed cases to 433.

Several tests locally identified in the far north on May 2 are still pending confirmation from the Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory, and will not be officially recorded until that point.

Breaking the 433 cases down by age range:

  • 0-19 y/o: 40 cases,
  • 20-39 y/o: 159 cases,
  • 40-59 y/o: 141 cases,
  • 60-79 y/o: 78 cases,
  • 80+ y/o: 15 cases.

The SHA also announced three new recoveries. That pushes the total to 305 overall.

The number of active cases of the virus also rose to 122.

Another two residents have been hospitalized due to the coronavirus - there are now 14 people in hospital. Three are in the ICU in Saskatoon, six are also in Saskatoon receiving inpatient care, with the other five receiving inpatient care in the north region.
