The Sask Health Authority announced the total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the province rose from 75 to 77 in their daily update Sunday afternoon.

The SHA noted the two new confirmed cases pushed the overall total to 315 in Saskatchewan. One case from Saturday's update still remains presumptive.

Of the two new confirmed cases, one is in the 19-and-under age range, while the other is in the 40-59 range.

Meanwhile, no recoveries were reported, spelling the first rise in the active case total since April 5. There are still 234 overall recoveries from the virus.

The south region of the province also hasn't seen a new reported case since that April 5 update, standing at 15 overall.
