The Saskatchewan Health Authority, as of April 22, has six new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 326.

Sixty-one of the cases are considered active. Nine more people have recovered, bring the provincial total to 261.

Currently, there are five people in hospitals across the province. Four are receiving inpatient care while one person is in intensive care.

Thirty-six of the overall cases in Saskatchewan are health care workers, however, the source of the infections may not be related to health care in all instances, 150 of the cases in the province are from the Saskatoon area, 71 from the Regina area, 61 from the north, 15 from the south, 11 from the central region, and 18 from the far north.
