Saskatchewan’s active COVID-19 case total saw a slight decrease in the provincial health authority’s daily update on Tuesday.

The SHA announced one new confirmed case and three new recoveries from the virus.

The new case was an individual in the 40-59 age range and in the Regina region.

The drop of two active cases puts that total at 70 as of Tuesday.

There have also been 366 overall reported cases and 291 recoveries.

Eight people are currently hospitalized because of the virus. Two of those cases are in ICU.

A total of 28,632 tests for COVID-19 have now been performed in Saskatchewan.
