Growing with you is the theme for the 35th Anniversary of the Western Canadian Crop Production Show.

The annual event opens today at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon.

Agriculture Manager Lori Cates says this is a big year for the show.

"It's 35 years since the first time that the show was held in one small building on the park Jubilee building," she said. "Now here we are filling an entire trade centre and could fill more if I had more space."

Cates says this year’s trade show and exhibit space is sold out once again and features everything from seed to crop inputs, farm equipment and marketing information.

She notes as well as seeing and hearing about the latest in crop production technology one of the highlights this year will be Global Ag Risk Solutions Drones In Agriculture presentation.

"Drones are the future of farming," she said. "We are going to talk to some experts about where they see drones going and I think it's going to be an excellent seminar. Its Wednesday morning from eight to noon."

Cates adds that tickets for the presentation are available online www.cropproductiononline.com/admissions.

Show hours are today noon to six, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 to 5.. Daily Admission is $15
