The International Stock Dog Championship Trials at Agribition are always a popular event.

Competitors come from all around to take part in the event and test their Dogs.

Milton Scott from Airdrie, Alberta took home the title for 2016 with his 3 year old dog Josie

"It's a big advantage going into the final (run) on top, by the time she (Josie) went she was the last dog to go so I knew what I had to beat. The winning run was 2:07, so (having that much time) I was able to safety up. A lot of times slower is faster and I forget that a lot of times in the finals as my competitors know I push hard. With this particular run I took my time and ended up with a 1:37 which is a quite fast," he said.

Scott says Josie is a hard worker at the farm and the feedlot noting he bought her as a pup and trained her himself.

Scott lives in Airdrie but is originally from Skull Creek in the Cypress Hills.
