Each year Canada’s Farm Progress Show welcomes over 40 thousand people.
The three day show features the latest in agricultural technology and innovation
Saskatchewan has a large manufacturing sector that is being showcased at the show.
Leah Olson President of the Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada says there’s a lot of optimism in the manufacturing sector:
"The Canadian market is stronger than the US. I think with the over-abundance of soybeans, the US farmers are feeling a little less optimistic than we are in Canada. Overall for Canadian agriculture equipment manufacturers, 2017 is likely to be a better year than 2016," she said.
She notes the international aspect of Canada’s Farm Progress Show offers a lot of opportunity for Canadian manufacturers.
