The National Farmers Union is launching an online and mail out survey to ask farmers how they are being treated when they deliver grain at the elevator.

NFU co-ordinator Ian Robson says the survey submissions will be kept confidential.

"It's been known for a long time that farmers dealing with elevators have concerns about the grade they receive, some of the transactions involved with contracting grain and it's important that farmers share those stories," he said. "We're

asking farmers to think about their experience and put down their response."

The online survey, which will be available at www.nfu.ca, is open to all Canadian grain farmers.
