A positive attitude can help you lead a strong team and build a successful farming operation.

That was the message yesterday from Dale Botting at the Innovation Credit Union/ Stark and Marsh Ag Outlook in Swift Current.

Botting notes we need to focus on how we choose to react or look at a situation.

He says for every negative there is a positive but many times it’s something we don’t look for,

Botting said,"We allow then other people to dictate our emotions, we allow the weather to dictate our emotions, we allow global markets or a change in the presidency of the United States to scare us, if that's the case, it could be an opportunity. In any event, it's a matter of the power to choose."

Botting says his message applies not just to producers,  but everyone wanting to live a happy successful life.
