The Swift Current 57's dropped a 10-4 decision to the Saskatoon Berries on Tuesday at Cairns Field to wrap up a winless five-game road trip.

Swift Current fell behind 10-0 early with Nolan Sparks hitting a two-run homer and Cory Wouters driving in two more runs with single in the first inning, and Aaron Martinez and Carter Beck drove in two more runs each as part of a six-run third inning. In the fourth, Jefferey Gutierrez hit an RBI double and later scored on an RBI single from Kai Gray. Gray was driven home on a single by Jeremiah Sanchez and Luca Hoerger brought home Sanchez on a single to make it 10-4, but Nick Nolan and two relievers would combine for five shutout innings to take the victory. Jacob Chandler took the loss for Swift Current, allowing 10 earned runs on seven hits over 2.1 innings.

The 57's (7-21) host the Weyburn Beavers in their next game on Thursday.
