The Swift Current 57's wrapped up a nine-game road trip with a 12-11 win over the WCBL's East Division-leading Moose Jaw Miller Express Tuesday night at Ross Wells Park.

Dylan Coty hit a two-run homer run in the third inning as part of a three-RBI night, and Cory Bonstrom also drove in three runs including a two-run single in the fourth inning as the 57's jumped out to a 12-5 lead after 3.5 innings. Starter Patrick Tangen allowed five earned runs and seven hits over three innings of work, but the bullpen helped hold off a rally by the Miller Express with Dawson Schultz pitching 2.1 innings, Trent Greek getting five outs for the win, and Tejean Smith moving from second base to the mound to pick up the final three outs in the ninth for the save.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Swift Current (17-19), while Moose Jaw's loss extended their losing streak to seven games in a row. The 57's are 3.5 games back of the Millers and will face them again for a doubleheader on Saturday.

Swift Current plays their first home game since June 30 when they host the Medicine Hat Mavericks tonight at Mitchell Field starting at 7:05pm.
