The Swift Current 57's picked up their sixth win in a row with a come-from-behind 9-6 victory over the Brooks Bombers at Mitchell Field on Tuesday night.

The Bombers jumped out to a 6-0 lead by the third inning on a two-run home run and an RBI double by Matt Wolff, a two-run double by Ryan Nagelbach and an RBI single from Chris Akers. The 57's would then get on the board with an RBI double from Mathew Ward in the fourth inning, and Thomas Collins hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning. Logan Grant scored Collins on an RBI triple and then Ward brought him home on a sacrifice fly to tie the game up in the seventh. Grant then hit the go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning and Brody Alexandre, who walked off the Bombers with a home run in their last meeting back in June, added some insurance with a two-out two-run single.

Starter Patrick Tangen struck out four batters over six innings and Gregor Farquharson pitched two scoreless innings and allowed just one hit to get the win in relief. Zac Laird struck out three batters in the ninth to pick up the save. Robert Liriano took the loss for Brooks.

The 57's sit in the third and final playoff spot in the East Division with a 23-22 record with just 10 games left in the regular season. They are four games back of first-place Moose Jaw, who lost their fourth game in a row on Tuesday night as they dropped an 8-7 decision to the Weyburn Beavers with the winning run forced in on a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth.

Swift Current is off on Wednesday before they start a home-and-home with the Medicine Hat Mavericks. Game one is on Thursday at Athletic Park with the return match on Friday at Mitchell Field.
