The Swift Current 57's picked up an 18-13 victory over the Brooks Bombers in a game called by rain after six innings at Elks Field in Brooks, Alberta, on Saturday.

Kai Gray hit a three-run homer while Casey Prychak and Gabriel Maldonado hit two-run singles in a nine-run first inning for Swift Current. The 57's added seven runs in the third with Brody Alexandre hitting a two-run homer as part of a three-RBI night. Jeremiah Sanchez and Marcus Graham also drove in two runs each.

57's starter Matthew Chandler picked up his first win of the season, striking our four batters over 4.1 innings. Grayden Stauffer took the loss for Brooks as he allowed eight earned runs on five hits over just two-thirds of an inning.

The 57's (4-11) face the Bombers again in Brooks on Sunday afternoon.
