The Swift Current 57's traded shots with the Lethbridge Bulls and came out on top 7-6 in a game dominated by the long ball at Mitchell Field.

The two teams combined for seven home runs in the game with Justin Barnes hitting a leadoff homer and Brody Alexandre adding a solo shot in the first inning, and Mathew Ward went yard with a solo homer in the sixth inning. Owen Stevenson went 3-for-4 with an RBI single in the seventh inning and Hayden Cooper drove in a pair on a double in that same inning. Dylan Coty had an RBI single in the second inning.

Krece Papierski, Torrin Vaselenak, Carter Claerhout and Kyle Turner went deep for Lethbridge in a losing cause.

Swift Current starter Brandon Byler struck out two batters and allowed three runs and three hits over five innings of work, and Gregor Farquharson got the win in relief. Local product Dawson Schultz pitched the eighth inning in his 57's debut, and Zack Stylianou pitched the ninth to pick up the save.

The 57's improve to 12-7 and host the Regina Red Sox in their next home game Thursday night at 7:05.
