The Swift Current Indians didn't do the playoff hungry Moose Jaw Miller Express any favours last night at Mitchell Field.

With the Indians up 3-2 in the 8th inning, Joe Carnahan and Antonio Aldridge hit home-runs just a batter apart to add some insurance.

The Indians went on to the 5-2 win to improve to 21-9 on the season while Moose Jaw remains a game behind Saskatoon for the final playoff spot.

Cody Hovdestread picked up the win on the mound coming in for two innings of relief work after starter Matt DeGagne tossed six innings.

The Indians have a few days off before playing four straight games on the road beginning Friday night in Regina.
