The Learning Centre was nominated by the director, Jennifer Koenig - Armstrong who said quote, "I felt it was important to nominate our early learning childcare centre as we have been supporting families for over 24 years and been able to stay open through the ups and downs of numbers of children, staffing changes, and shortages, and the stress of COVID and we are still here."

To be nominated there needed to be two letters of reference and recommendations, which were supplied by two past families who used the Center, as well as several pictures of children doing activities and the way learning stations are set up for play.

The prize awarded as top Center nominated in the province was a $500 cheque and a $50 gift card for Wintergreen to purchase toys.

Alley Katz who has on average days about 20 children,  was awarded this honor for the dedication to the early learning and childcare sector and working hard to further early childhood education to a brighter future.

Koenig-Armstrong adds that the Centre is always looking for staff who are reliable, energetic, outgoing, and love children. Part time, full time and casual positions are available.
