Peter Whitmore has been charged with abducting and sexually assaulting two boys found with him in a Saskatchewan farmhouse.

35-year-old Whitmore made a brief court appearance yesterday and has been remanded until next Thursday.

Police documents filed with the court allege Whitmore committed numerous sexual assaults on the boys, aged 10 and 14.

Meanwhile, police in Newfoundland say they are investigating a complaint of sexual assault against a young boy from Topsail, Newfoundland/Labrador.

Whitmore has a record going back more than decade. He faces a total of five charges.

The Toronto Star is reporting that Whitmore has agreed to plead guilty and has requested a single cell in prison.
