In the November 17 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, there are 240 new cases of the virus reported in the province.

Of those 240 new cases there are 5 located in the Far North West zone , 5 in the Far North Central zone , 6 in the Far North East zone, 16 in the North West zone, 12 in the North Central zone, 2 in the North East zone, 97 in the Saskatoon zone, 27 in the Regina zone, 11 in the Central West zone, 3 in the Central East zone, 4 in the South West zone, 23 in the South Central zone, and 16 in the South East zone.

Thirteen new cases have pending residence information.

Four cases with pending residence information were assigned as follows: 3 to the North Central zone, and 1 to the South Central zone.

That brings the provincial total number of COVID-19 cases to 5,422, of which 2,055 are considered active.

There are currently 42 active COVID-19 cases in the South West zone.

There are 113 more recoveries reported, bringing that provincial total to 3,336.

There are currently 71 people in hospital. Fifty-six people are receiving inpatient care - 1 in the Far North West zone, 3 in the North West zone, 6 in the North Central zone, 2 in the North East zone, 30 in the Saskatoon zone, 3 in the Regina zone, 4 in the South West zone, 1 in the South Central zone, and 6 in he South East Zone.

There are 15 people in intensive care - 2 in the North  Central zone, 7 in Saskatoon, 2 in the Central East zone, and 4 in Regina.

There has been a total, so far, of 31 deaths related to COVID-19.

To date, 303,641 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday, there were 2,803 COVID-19 tests processed.
