Southwest rodeo fans will have two cowboys to cheer for on "Showdown Sunday" as the Calgary Stampede winds down this weekend.

Eatonia bull rider Dakota Buttar scored an 87 in the first round on Tuesday and a 77.5 in the final performance on Friday to finish fourth in Pool B with $4,500 in winnings. He will join Maple Creek's Jared Parsonage in the final round for the $50,000 grand prize and the title of Calgary Stampede Champion.

Buttar finished 17th in the PBR Canada National Finals in Edmonton last fall and also took part in the 2019 PBR World Finals and 2020 PBR Global Cup USA event.

Two more riders from today's Wild Card Saturday round will fill out the 10-man field for Sunday's championship round.
