Once again, Swift Current Ag & Ex partnered with W.W. Smith Insurance and the Canadian Mental Health Association (Swift Current Branch), for their ‘Jeans for Teens’ charity event.  

Local businesses participated to support the Center, a youth support establishment in town. 

A $5 donation was made for each employee that wore denim to work. As of ten a.m. this morning, the total number of people who took part is one hundred eighty-one and the total amount raised is nine hundred four dollars and five cents.  

The list of businesses that are decked out in denim to donate to the Center are:  

City of Swift Current: $95.00 and 19 people  

Western Financial: $25.00 and 5 people 

Anderson & Company: $116.00 and 23 people  

EBT Chartered Prof. Accountants: $130.00 and 26 people 

Living Sky Casino: $75.00 and 15 people

Mercator Financial: $100.00 and 20 people  

Sentiments: $25.00 and 5 people

There’s still time to wear ‘jeans for teens’ for anyone considering or wanting to donate. The fundraising began on June 27 and runs until July 1.
