Another big local event will see its 2020 edition cancelled, as the Swift Current Ag & Ex announced Monday morning that this year’s Frontier Days – which was set for June 24-27 – has been called off.

The Ag & Ex noted that amid the ongoing public safety concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, the challenge of continuing forward with an event that needs months of preparation was just too difficult.

For those who have already made a financial commitment for this year’s Frontier Days, the Ag & Ex says they’ll honour those four-day passes and concert passes in 2021. Though, those wanting a refund can call the Ag & Ex office.

Frontier Days, which first opened in 1938, will see its next edition run June 30 – July 3, 2021.
