SPONSORED CONTENT: G3 Swift Current hasn’t been open very long, but its staff have already established themselves as the best team to do business with.

“G3 is awesome,” says farm owner Curtis Argue. He credits the friendly, experienced staff for a hassle-free experience – even with multiple loads and split contracts. “When I go pick up my cheques,” he says, “I never find any mistakes. Everything is to the T.”

“It’s the first place we call,” adds area farmer Lynden Carlson. “They are just so good to work with. Very easy.”

G3 Swift Current took its first grain deliveries from area farms in May 2021. When they got these deliveries, they officially joined G3’s growing network of high-efficiency grain elevators across the prairies. These grain elevators can unload a Super-B truck in less than five minutes, load a 150-car train in a matter of hours, and keep grain moving to port in Vancouver and onward to markets around the world. The network is driving Canada’s grain supply chain to new levels of efficiency and ensuring more marketing and delivery opportunities for farmers.

“You don’t get the excuse, ‘The elevator is full, we can’t take anything,’” says Argue. “They’re very efficient in emptying their bins.”

“Customers are liking the speed of unloading,” says G3 Swift Current General Manager Rick Spetz, who has already seen hundreds of trucks move through his facility. He understands the importance of personal connections and customer service in addition to the industry-leading efficiency G3 has brought to the market in and around Swift Current.

Beyond the world of grain, Spetz has ensured G3 is an active part of the community, supporting local facilities and projects through sponsorships and donations. When the facility’s grand opening event had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, G3 instead made a $10,000 donation to the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation to support healthcare in Southwest Saskatchewan. G3 is also a proud sponsor of the WHL Swift Current Broncos junior hockey team.
