The Swift Current Indians failed to get the run support as they dropped the opener to Regina 3-2 last night at Mitchell Field.

The Indians didn't have a hit until the 6th inning but tied the game at two in the 7th with a two run single from Cole Armstrong.

t wasn't enough as the Regina scored again in the 8th for the win.

Indians starting pitche,r Ryan Flanigan, feels that despite a good defensive effort, the hitting squad seemed to be in a slump throughout the game.

The Indians have only scored 11 runs in four playoff games.  Game two of the best of five series is tonight at Mitchell Field.
