The Saskatchewan Health Authority needs the public's help to support them in staying safe, and that includes being conscious of donations, what they need, and what they don't need.

The staff and physicians in the SHA appreciate Saskatchewan resident's generosity, but realize they need to remain vigilant of what is being accepted.

The Health Authority is working in collaboration with SaskBuilds and the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency to accept donations from suppliers, industry associations, companies, small businesses and organized donation drives. Currently, they are accepting masks, non-latex gloves and disposable gowns, however, to ensure infection and control standards they are not accepting sewn masks or gowns or opened boxes or individual supplies.

If you have supplies to donate, you can email procurement@gov.sk.ca and you will be contacted.

The Health Authority is also asking that you do not drop off any supplies directly to ant of their facilities.

This includes donations of food and beverages to healthcare workers. Please do not bring these donations to any healthcare facility, or provide them to any healthcare worker to bring into work for sharing.

The SHA says that you can help healthcare workers the most right now by following the directions set out by The Government of Saskatchewan and The Chief Medical Health Officer.
