As the combines start to roll again in southwest Saskatchewan, we're excited to announce that the Grain Rush will be returning this month, presented this year by B&A Petroleum, Cattle Boss Butchers, Bumper to Bumper and Redhead Equipment!

This year, we're giving local farmers a chance to win a hot breakfast from Louie D's Catering for their whole harvest crew delivered right to their field. Producers can click the Grain Rush link under "contests" on Swift Current Online to enter for a chance to win one of three deliveries on August 15, 16 or 17. Winners will be drawn on Friday, August 12 and will be contacted by telephone to arrange their delivery.

Another way to bring the Grain Rush to your farm is with an auction on the Trading Post live on CKSW 570 and CJSN 1490 at 11:30am on August 12. Farmers can call in at 306-778-3247 and bid on a breakfast delivery to their own farm and another delivery to a harvest crew of their choice, with the proceeds supporting the Farm Stress Line. The farmer with the highest bid will win these deliveries that will take place on August 18 and 19.

The Farm Stress Line is operated by Mobile Crisis Services, a non-profit organization that provides confidential, free support to farmers and ranchers in Saskatchewan facing operational difficulties. Producers needing support can call the Farm Stress Line 24 hours a day, seven days a week, toll-free at 1-800-667-4442.
