The Saskatchewan Health Authority issued a Public Service Announcement this morning, advising residents in the Herbert area of some disruptions to healthcare in the area.

Effective yesterday and until 7 a.m. on November 24, inpatient and emergency room services will be unavailable at the Herbert & District Integrated Health Facility.

According to the SHA's release, this is due to an unplanned physician shortage.

Emergency services are available at Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, and in the event of an emergency residents should call 9-1-1.
