Colin Thatcher, former provincial Cabinet Minister, now lies at a low-profile halfway house in downtown Regina.

The Oskana Centre is a 20-bed facility which has been in the city for more than 25 years.

Centre Director, Tony Bouchad, had little to say when asked how Thatcher is doing.

Bouchard says the average stay for residents of the Centre is about six months, after which most move on to full parole.
