The Swift Current Rampage minor lacrosse program hosted 24 teams and 48 games at the Fairview Arenas this past weekend for the South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League Playoffs.

Local teams in the 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U divisions took on teams from Regina, Moose Jaw, Standing Buffalo First Nation, Weyburn and Estevan over the three-day event.

The Rampage made the final in the 10U division but had to settle for silver in an 11-3 loss to the Moose Jaw Mustangs in the final. The Standing Buffalo Fighting Sioux took the bronze.

In the 12U division, Moose Jaw beat the Regina Crossfire 7-2 to win gold, and the Weyburn Thrashers took bronze. The Mustangs also won gold in the 14U division, beating the Thrashers 10-5 with the Regina Outlaws picking up bronze, and in the 16U division, the Regina Snipers beat Weyburn 7-3 to win gold while the Regina Hawks took home bronze.
