Berney Weston stopped all 27 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season as the Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires beat the Saskatoon Contacts 3-0 in their first home game of the season at Innovationplex on Saturday.

Parker Rondeau and Kayd Ruedig scored on the power play for the Legionnaires and Kade Stringer added a goal and an assist. Swift Current outshot the Contacts 31-24.

The Legionnaires (6-3-0) host the Contacts again on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm from Innovationplex.
