Tristan Mitchell-McElhone scored the winning goal in overtime as the Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires knocked off the Warman Wildcats 4-3 in a rematch of last season's playoff series Saturday night at Innovationplex.

Ty Dauvin opened the scoring for Warman just 1:15 into the game, but Mason Fauser tied it up midway through the second period. Jace Egland and Kayd Ruedig made it 4-2 in the third period, but two late goals by Cohen Klassen and Connor Bear tied the game and forced overtime, where Mitchell-McElhone got the winner with 1:37 remaining.

Jacob Morris made 36 saves as the Wildcats outshot Swift Current 39-20.

The Legionnaires (10-4-2) will host the Wildcats again at 2:00pm Sunday afternoon from Innovationplex.
