Rookie Jace Egland scored twice in the third period, including an empty-netter to seal the Legionnaires' seventh win in their last eight games. Berney Weston made 30 saves for his first shutout of the season.
The Legionnaires (7-3-0-1) will visit the Regina Pat Canadians in their next game on Tuesday night, and then host the Yorkton Maulers for a pair of games on the weekend.
