It's a relatively quiet weekend for minor hockey, but the Home Hardware Midget Legionnaires have been making a lot of noise.

They are now unbeaten in their last seven games, after skating to a 2-2 tie with the Notre Dame Hounds on the road Saturday. The Legionnaires trailed 2-1 after 40 minutes, but Cody McKinnon scored the tying marker with 6:54 left in regulation. Justin Spagrud got the other goal for the Legionnaires, and Kyler Beckett made 22 saves.

The two teams return to action on Tuesday, this time in Swift Current at the Credit Union iplex.

The Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats picked up only their second win of the season last night, with a 2-0 victory over the Battlefords Sharks. Karlee Anderson and Delaine Feil scored the Wildcats goals, both in the third period. The two teams play again today in the Battlefords.

In Junior B, the Cypress Cyclones lost 7-4 to the Ochapowace Thunder
