The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires picked up a win over four games at the prestigious Circle K Classic, formerly the Mac's Tournament, in Calgary over the Christmas holidays.

Jack Puckett scored the lone goal for the Legionnaires in a 4-1 loss to the Calgary Buffaloes in the opening game of the round-robin on Tuesday before they were blanked 4-0 by the Chicago Mission on Wednesday. Swift Current then defeated RINK Kelowna 4-3 on Thursday with Kade Stringer, Eric Hoiness, Hudson Darby and Rylan Williams scoring for the Legionnaires. Jace Egland, Theo McGuire and Cam Perlinger had the Legionnaires' goals in a 6-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues in a divisional quarterfinal on Friday.

The Legionnaires return to league play on January 8 when they host the Warman Wildcats.
