The local motocross track was packed this past weekend as Swift Current hosted the fourth round of the Saskatchewan Motocross Association.

Despite the hot weather, tons of people attended the races that kicked off around 9:15 a.m. and took up the majority of Sunday. 

Local competitors, Cole Gunter placed first in Vet Junior and second overall in Mx1 Junior while Denton Walker secured third in Mx2 Junior, fifth in Mx1 Junior, and fifth in Mx3 Junior. 

Swift Current's Krysten Gardner took home third overall in Ladies B and her sister, Tesla Gardner, received fourth place overall in Ladies B.

Rhyker McMorris received fourth in GP Beginner and sixth in the 85 seven to 11 years old category, while Tristan Shipley achieved fifth in the 65 10 to 11 years old.
