The Medicine Hat Mavericks broke a 5-5 deadlock in the bottom of the eighth inning plating a trio of runs en route to an 8-5 win over the visiting Swift Current 57's.

Catcher Marcus Graham hit a three-run homer in the first inning putting the 57's with Medicine Hat responding with three of their own in the third inning.

Jeffrey Gutierrez and Kai Gray produced back-to-back RBI singles in the fourth inning putting Swift Current ahead 5-3. The Mavericks tied the game back up in the sixth inning with two of their own before the three-run eighth to complete the comeback.

Swift Current (10-25) is off until Thursday when they visit Regina to face the East Division-leading Red Sox (23-12).
