The Swift Current 57's season-high eight-game winning streak came to an end on Sunday afternoon in an 8-3 loss to the Moose Jaw Miller Express at Mitchell Field.

Thomas Collins opened the scoring with a two-run home run in the first inning, but the Millers tied it up as Joe Osborn scored on a double play in the third, and Dawson Tweet followed up with the tying RBI single in the fourth. Zach Campbell hit the go-ahead two-run homer in the fifth and scored on a Parker Dorrance RBI single in the seventh to make it 5-2 for Moose Jaw. Collins drove in Adam Golby on a groundout in the bottom of the seventh to cut the 57's deficit to two runs, but Joe Osborn hit a three-run shot in the eighth inning for the Millers to wrap up the scoring.

Zack Stylianou took the loss for Swift Current after allowing four earned runs on nine hits over seven innings in his first start of the season. Andrew Barger got the win for Moose Jaw.

The 57's are now three games back of Moose Jaw for first place in the WCBL's East Division with a 26-24 record and six games remaining in the regular season schedule. Swift Current will host the Medicine Hat Mavericks on Monday night at 7:05pm from Mitchell Field.
