Hope Dorothy (MacDonald) Ulm - 103 years old of Aneroid and Ponteix passed away on February 12, 2022 at Ponteix, Saskatchewan.  The graveside service will be on June 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., and lunch will be at the 50 Plus Aneroid.  Everyone is welcome.  Laura Balas officiating.  Hope is survived by her daughter-in-law's, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Frank; son's Craig, Calvin, Brian, Dwayne, Harold; her 2 sisters; 3 nieces.  Hope was born in Ontario and came to Aneroid as a small child.  She went to school at Warren's, 15 miles south of Aneroid.  Hope married Frank Ulm and they were married for 66 years.  They lived on the Ulm farm and raised their 5 sons.  She was a hard worker and did everything inside and out, milked cows and also combined.  Hope had help when Frank's niece Irene came to live with them and go to school in Kincaid.  Irene was Hope's daughter and remained so her whole life.  She had a great garden and loved her flowers.  For 22 years, Frank and Hope went to Mesa, Arizona in the winter with friends Joe and Audrey Raymond.  Frank and Hope moved to Swift Current in 2000 when Frank's health began to fail.  Frank passed in November 2007.  Later Hope moved to the Foyer in Ponteix.  Hope was a member of the Eastern Star, and Stitch and Chatter, and the Aneroid 50 Plus.  Donations may be made to the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home, Box 450, Ponteix, Saskatchewan, S0N 1Z0.  Lemieux's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
