The manhunt for Myles Sanderson has ended as he has been taken into police custody. Sanderson was captured and arrested near Rosthern at around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon. 

The provincial dangerous persons alert has been cancelled by the RCMP.  There is no longer a risk to public safety relating to this investigation. As updates become available, they will be posted to the Saskatchewan RCMP website.

Sanderson was the last remaining suspect along with now deceased brother Damien in a string of stabbings that took place on Sunday, in the James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon leaving 11 dead and 19 others injured. 

Myles has been charged with: three counts, first-degree murder, one count, attempted murder, and one count, break and enter – residence.
