Another player with NHL bloodlines made their debut with the Swift Current Broncos this week.

Dakota Odgers, son of former NHLer Jeff Odgers, played on a line with Zac Mackay and Andy Blanke in Swift Current's loss to Kootenay on Wednesday.

Odgers describes himself as a player.



Odgers, fellow prospects Matthew Gelinas and Jake Debrusk, join veteran forward Adam Lowry as Broncos whose parents had significant NHL careers.

The 15 year old Odgers leads Yorkton in the MIdget AAA league with 16 goals in 31 games.

 

He will stay with the Broncos for the rest of their road trip that includes games tonight in Red Deer and tomorrow in Edmonton.
