This year's Canada Day Parade might be a little early, being dubbed the Frontier Days Parade, but it was more than well attended.

Over 100 different floats, vehicles, and displays went past streets lined with thousands of people in Swift Current. From Elmwood Park to Central Avenue North, even over the Second Avenue Southeast overpass, the parade touted music, horns, and cheers from everyone involved.

Children could be seen carefully running to pick up the candy dispersed by the floats, laughing and screaming as the big truck horns tooted to their surprise.

Given that the first few days of Frontier Days have been rather cloudy and rainy, today was perfect as the weather hit 16 C with just enough fluffy clouds to offer up the perfect amount of shade for it.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's parade, helping to make it one of the best yet.
