A pair of busy roadways in Swift Current will be undergoing improvements this week.
Starting today - a paving project will be carried out on Chaplin Street East from 11th Avenue Northeast to 13th Avenue Northeast. The City expects the construction will take three days depending on weather conditions.
The other paving job commencing today is on the south side of Swift Current, as South Railway Street West from 11th Avenue Southwest to Treens Packers Property will be resurfaced. This work is projected to take one week, also being weather dependant.
The City has set up detours for both areas closed to motorists and you can see the maps below.
