The Swift Current 57's capitalized on strong pitching and timely hitting for the second straight night, this time beating the Brooks Bombers.

Kenny Jinks tossed five innings of one-run ball and struck out nine batters and Demetrio Archuleta and Jose Ayala hit solo home runs to lift the 57's to a 5-2 victory in Brooks.

Ayala opened the game's scoring in the first inning singling home Archuleta. Swift Current tacked on another run in the second inning on an outfield throwing error.

The 57's extended their lead to 4-0 in the third, on Ayala's homer and an RBI single courtesy of Luca Hoerger.

Brooks scored one run in the fifth inning and both teams traded a run in the seventh inning.

57's pitcher Klevert Martina earned a save in the win going three innings allowing no runs and striking out five batters.
