The Swift Current Curling Club will be playing host to the top junior curlers in the province for the CURLSASK under-21 men’s and women’s championships next week.

The winners will represent Saskatchewan at the national junior championships in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec this March, and it's also a chance to see teams that could represent our province at a future Scotties or Brier.

"Steve Laycock, he's won 11 provincial titles and been to 11 Briers, he started out as a junior provincial champion, same with many others like Colton Flasch and Stefanie Lawton," said Chris Haichert, General Manager of the Swift Current Curling Club. "This is the cream of the crop at this age, so it's quite neat and humbling for us here at the curling club to be able to host the top-level junior curling talent.

The event starts on Thursday, January 19th with the finals set for Sunday the 22nd, and admission is free for all of the draws.
